What is Acoustic
听觉并不仅仅指听觉，它意指现代通讯科技下瞬息万变的交流与沟通方式，及其带来的多感官体验，其本质上是以人为中心的动态体验。由社会中的大部分人依赖视觉来认知世界并进行创作，我们本能地忽略其他感官的可能性。而新兴技术与概念不仅仅服务于视觉，其包容性也允许我们将更多体验容纳进设计实践以及创作活动中来。这一包容性为我们的实践提供更多可能，也让实践者拥有更广泛的受众群体。
Acoustic refers to dynamic and multi-sensory potentials in the future.As most of us are born visually, trained visually and we produce visually, we are inherently blind to the need of other sensory space and ignore non-visual potentials in a forseeable future.We are now in a shift from singularity of visual culture, into a multi-sensory future, while augmented reality and interactive media come to our life. It is the time to consider, a shift in our mind and culture.
听觉也是当前时代的必然趋势。除视觉之外，听觉作为技术最为完备，产业最为发达，文化最多样的领域，必将是实践的第一选择，在我们的城市中起到关键作用。
Acousticis an inevitable trend in our era. Excluding visual fields among all senses,soundhas themost advanced technology,narrative and culture.Beyond visual, sound will be the firststep of our future practice, and provide more choices for citizens.
